I had a 3d ultrasound the other day - coolest thing ever! - and was quite happy to see that the baby is in fact a girl just as predicted during my first ultrasound many weeks ago. The technician gladly showed me the proof on screen by running his mouse up and down the line of the babies labia. “see that line right there? that looks like lips? that’s her labia”
Yup - she’s a girl.
Since I have been pregnant everyone I come in contact with, who doesn’t know me, always seem to make some reference to my “husband”. One of my doctors did it and the woman at the sub shop just did it…The thing is, I really am okay with the fact that D and I aren’t married even though we are having a kid. We did just buy a house together which says a lot to me about commitment, but I guess deep down I do get a little pang about it during those moments when people just assume we are married…because he isn’t my husband…he’s someone elses EX-husband. And she didn’t deserve him.
