I went to Target yesterday and as I was browsing the baby section a very “loud” woman came over to admire Miss S. After asking how old she was her next comment was “What a great hairline.”
Um….is that a compliment? Whatever happened to just saying “she’s beautiful”? Miss S definitely has her Dad’s widow’s peak, but it just struck me as an odd thing to comment on. I wish I had replied back with something a little better than “thanks”. Maybe something like “And what a great shade of grey your hair is”…something like that…
Well, she does have a great hair line.. but I’ll admit, that’s a compliment I’ve never heard before! She’s such a cutie! And getting bigger and bigger.. she totally looks like D by the way!
Did you happen to notice what her hairline was like? Did she have a football field for a forehead? Maybe it’s hairline envy?? None the less, weird thing to comment on! And I agree with xian- she looks so much like D!!
