Boob Cozy February 15, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — ctale @ 2:13 am

As I was nursing Miss S today my boob was getting so cold from being exposed to this cold winter air in our uninsulated house…that’s when it hit me…Someone needs to invent a “boob cozy” something fleecey, soft, and warm that you can slip over your boob to keep it warm while you nurse - It would need a hole for the nipple to fit through - well you get the picture. It could be called “Toasty TaTas” or something like that…

(note: you can tell I have been cooped up inside and home alone with a baby for too long)

back to work February 14, 2007

Yesterday was the first time since I have been home on maternity that I actually wished I was at work. Miss S cried all day long and I just couldn’t figure out why!

I actually do go back to work next week…I feel so distant from that place already. It will be hard to be back. Plus my coworkers are going to want to kill me with all my whining and talking about Miss S. Oh well - tough shit.

I have a head cold…and I would give anything to be swaddled and left to sleep as long as I want…But instead I stay up and take care of Miss S. Yes - she is sleeping in this picture but she only napped for 15 minutes which is not enough time for me to rest too! She doesn’t know how easy she has it! I would sleep all day if I could.

The look of Motherhood February 1, 2007

Me standing in my dr’s office in a hospital gown, the back wide open and bum hanging out, while swinging S in her car seat trying to keep her from completely waking up and crying - she hates being in her car seat! And oh yeah, I had her pacifier in my mouth (one hand to swing the car seat and one to try to keep the gown closed!). My doctor walked in and said “Ahhh…the Look of Motherhood”.

Boobies February 1, 2007

If my friend had a blog she would certainly have written about this on her own, but she doesn’t so I will!

I was at my friend J’s house the other day hanging out with her kids and Miss S and had just finished nursing and was packaging myself back up into my nursing tank when her 3 year old son, who had been standing in the middle of the room staring at me, announced “My Mommy has giant boobies”

Nearly peed my pants…
